From wasteland to green metropolis, the vibrant 30-square-kilometre Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City (Eco-City) is a high-profile bilateral cooperation project between the governments of Singapore and China. Located in Tianjin Binhai New Area, the Eco-City is envisioned to create a harmonious and sustainable community that meets the needs of an urbanising China.

The Keppel Group leads the Singapore consortium for the Eco-City project. As a provider of solutions for sustainable urbanisation, Keppel’s diverse capabilities in urban development, environment and connectivity are also brought together in the Eco-City to create a highly liveable, smart and sustainable community. Keppel Land has been actively involved in the Eco-City since the conception of the project more than a decade ago, and has actively contributed to the Eco-City's transformation from a barren site to the sustainable city it is today.

In the Start-Up Area (SUA) of the Eco-City, Keppel Land is developing a four-phase residential development, namely Seasons Park, Seasons Garden, Seasons Residences and Seasons Heights, which offers a total of about 4,200 green homes. Seasons Heights is the Eco-City’s first smart estate and features 30 smart technology application scenarios in the estate and in residents’ homes.

Other projects developed by Keppel Land in the Eco-City include low-density homes Waterfront Residences, Serenity Cove and Serenity Villas. Keppel is currently developing Waterfront Residences II in the SUA, an eco-community comprising terrace houses and low-rise apartments.

Seasons City, Keppel Land’s commercial development in the Eco-City, is currently under construction. Phase 1, comprising a five-storey retail complex and a 10-storey office tower, is targeted for completion in 2021.

Eco-City International Country Club (ECICC), Keppel Land's 18-hole golf course in the Eco-City, is the world's first Audubon Classic Sanctuary golf course. A world-renowned authoritative stamp on sustainable natural resource management, the Audubon accreditation is testament to ECICC's commitment to best green practices.

Keppel Land and Keppel Urban Solutions are also jointly developing a 166-ha smart precinct in the northern district of the Eco-City.
